The aims of this paper was to map chronologically (1964 - 2014), areas around three peat bogs located in Datas/MG, aiming to identify anthropic pressure, arising from the use and occupation of land in these areas. For this, we used geoprocessing techniques, such as: georeferencing, mosaic, supervised classification (MaxVer) and vectorization. Remote sensing products as aerial photographs and images of the Landsat (TM/5 and OLI/8) and RapidEye satellites were used. The results allowed the identification of the types of land use (eucalyptus and other crops) in the surroundings of the bogs located in the studied municipality. The area occupied by eucalyptus, which did not exist in 1964, occupied 45.56 ha in 1995 and increased to 146.16 ha in 2014 (6.14% of the area under study). Other crops (strawberry and corn), also not grown in the area in 1964, advanced to 292.58 ha in 2014 (12.29% of the area studied). The advance of agriculture around bogs in the municipality of Datas/MG confirms the increase of anthropic pressure on these ecosystems, which provide relevant environmental services.
