System of exercises for teaching future translators to make abstract and gist translation of scientific texts

Abstract

The article presents the system of exercises for teaching future translators to make abstract and gist translation of scientific texts on the basis of the agrarian articles, analyzes the scientific research on developing a system of exercises for teaching translation. The concept of the system of exercises, requirements for it and its components have been defined within the methodology of translation. The stages for teaching have been suggested and described. The groups and the subgroups of exercises have been proposed. The examples of exercises have been given.
