Ulnar mononeuritis associated with co-existing viral hepatitis A & E
Abstract
Hepatitis B and C are commonly implicated for extrahepatic manifestations involving the skin, joints, arteries, kidney and nerves. Hepatitis A and E continue to be a major problem in developing countries and may rarely have extrahepatic complications. We report a case of ulnar mononeuritis in a young girl of 16 years due to co-infection with hepatitis A and E.
