Optimization of Educational Process and Clinical Management of Profile Patients by Foreign Students at the Department of Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology of the Higher State Educational Institution of Ukraine «Bukovinian State Medical University»

Abstract

The article highlights some aspects of optimization of educational process when teaching subjects «Tropical medicine and clinical parasitology», «Infectious disease» for foreign students with English language of studying. Particular attention is paid to practical work of foreign students at the infectious in-patients hospitals, which is proposed to be improved by the use of a structured approach. The last mentioned could be realized through management, which is effectively complemented by the use of mnemonic phrases PAM HUGS FOSS, LIQOR AAA, CAGE questionnaire and case history card defense.
