The National School Feeding Program (PNAE) in Mauriti/CE (Brazil) has a positive impact on family farming, as it encourages and promotes the commercialization of its products. The goal of the program is to benefit students in basic education with healthy and nutritious food. It is worth mentioning that the PNAE is interconnected to the mandala system, whose principle is environmental sustainability and the improvement of the food standard, consequently improving the income and quality of life of the population. This study sought to analyze data from the PNAE in Mauriti/CE family agriculture secretariat from 2010 to 2014. The methodology used is descriptive statistics. The products of the PNAE produced by the mandala system had the highlight of the year 2012, the other years there was a reduction. However, with a view to strengthening family farming and reducing rural exodus, it is of great importance that this program is expanded.
