Congenital adrenal cortex hyperplasia combines a group of monogenic diseases with an autosomal recessive fashion based on defects in enzymes or transport proteins involved in adrenal steroidogenesis. This disease proceeds under a variety of clinical masks, which leads to the development of severe exsicosis with electrolyte disorders and without replacement therapy can result in mortality. It requires doctors to be cautious and adequately skilled in assisting newborns. The article presents the clinical and paraclinical features of the course of salt-losing form of congenital adrenal cortex hyperplasia in a newborn.
