Morphometric study of the liver of Vistar rats with a model of alimentary obesity

Abstract

Experimental alimentary obesity leads to significant structural changes in the liver of rats. Structural changes in the parenchymal cells are accompanied by functional strain in the capillary-connective tissue structures, and by disorders in the blood circulation and lymph drainage in the liver.
