Dynamique commerciale et périurbanisation dans les petites villes d’Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes

Abstract

Based on the findings of profound changes in the retail trade of small towns, this article aims to study the relationship between suburbanization and commercial dynamics in urban areas of 5,000 to 50,000 inhabitants. The objective of this study is to analyse the effects of suburbanization on the spatial organization of trade in the peri-urban crowns of small towns and to see how the peri-urban commercial nodules fit into the commercial system of small towns agglomerations.
