Processos correlativos em Concierto Barroco: diálogo com um estilo datado
Abstract
This is a stylistic analysis, in the light of an aspect of Wölfflin's fourth category, transcodified into the literary code, of the Cuban writer Alejo Carpentier's discourse in Concierto Barroco [Barroque Concert] (1974). It focuses on the language of multiplicity in the unity, particularly on the correlative technique, which is manifested with full strength in Carpentierian narrative and reveals a fine plot supporting, from the linguistic point of view, the work composition as an organic and well woven whole.
