The interactive function of new media enables the audiences to have more right of equality and speech. The number of publicity users for earthquake protection and disaster reduction is soaring, which are new media, such as Weibo, Wechat, Douyin and so on. The most fundamental reason that can cause users to “pursue” is that the work is “close to the people to solve their worries”, and that it can friendly give users a good sense of experience. New media can carry out interaction, especially in the national disaster prevention and mitigation days. It will integrate seismic work with the public, promote mutual understanding, and boost the high-quality development of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction.
