Fertilization variants effect in the incidence and populational fluctuation of the true bugs complex (Hemipterous: Pentatomidae) in common bean

Abstract

This work was done in the “Panchita Orchard” Township Quemado de Guines, province of Villa Clara from September 2010 to December 2011. Was to determine the effect of fertilization have some variations in behavior and incidence of associated pentatomid common bean. Varieties were planted two different colored heads (1 red and 1 white) in random blocks on a Brown soil Carbonated Fluffy. The input of the first adults phenophase occurred in R2 and R3 peak in population with 28.8% of the Pentatomidae detected. In the two varieties studied, Rhizobium fertilization showed the best effects in reducing insect and the rate and degree of involvement, the opposite of what happened with the urea, which were equal to the control population levels, but higher affectations. The pentatomids presented similar preference for the two varieties since no differences in the parameters.
