Near-room-temperature martensitic actuation profited from one-dimensional hybrid perovskite structure

Abstract

Martensitic transformations are structural phase transition that usually bring about stimuli-responsive phenomena. Here authors present a 1D hybrid perovskite ferroelastic martensite that shows thermoelastic actuation behaviour with a significant photoelectric response around room temperature.
