Being a Perfect Black Doudou means being able to follow 61 rules without any apparent doubt. Being able to stomach fear, sorrow, bitterness, shame, complacency, hypocrisy, oppression, discrimination, self-mutilation, silence, darkness, loneliness, war, bleeding, agony, death. It means living with umpteen masks and a triple consciousness.
