Khorasan has a different place and importance in history. The greater Khorasan, which has a wide geography, showing differences and changes compared to other parts of Iran, has a special place, starting from the Amu Darya region extending to the vicinity of Rey. Another characteristic of Khorasan is that the area has a wide and flat geography and a strategic importance, and it covers cities, villages and commercial areas. This has profoundly influenced the post-Islamic Iranian history and culture. In this geography, Firstly the rebellion of the Iranian elements against the khalifa took place and uprisings against the sects started. For these reasons, every historian must take into consideration the post-Islamic Khorasan region. Right after the adoption of Islam, radical changes took place in the lifestyles of the inhabitants of Khorasan and nearby villages, and a new economic class appeared, all of which resulted in the settlement of the Arabs in the region and the influence of the culture of Arabs and Persians on the people living in the Khorasan region. The emergence of scholarly studies, literary and cultural works in such an environment is no coincidence. However, the people of Khorasan tried to protect their traditions, cultures and languages.
