Le premesse critico-formative della Scuola di Francoforte
Abstract
Abstract: The critical-formative preliminary remarks of the Frankfurt School - In the period of transition between the Nineteenth and the Twentieth century, after the fall of the German Empire and the birth of the Weimar Republic, Germany became a real European centre of social and cultural elaboration. Even though the rise of National Socialism implied a tragic outcome, during the fifteen years of the Weimar Republic outstanding figures such as Paul Natorp, Theodor Litt, Max Weber, and Georg Simmel had a great influence on a part of the youth movements. They greatly contributed to the intellectual and cultural training of two of the most representative theorists of the Frankfurt School, Max Horkheimer and Theodor Adorno.
