Trajectoires socio-économique et spatiale de l’agropastoralisme dans la région de Djebel Amour

Abstract

Like all rural areas, the rate of evolution of the Algerian steppe territories has accelerated during the last quarter of the century under the impetus of the factors of modernity. During a research work on the Jebel Amour Region, carried out published in 2003, we were interested in this dynamic and its factors. Several development scenarios have thus been proposed. Back in the region 15 years later, we wanted to verify the veracity of the proposed scenarios and find out if any of them materialized. The analysis focuses on the dynamics of the components of the scenarios according to the current situation in the region.
