Anisotropy of photoluminescence in ZnIn S doped with Cu and Mn
Abstract
A significant anisotropy of photoluminescence was found in ZnIn2S4:Cu and ZnIn2S4:Mn single crystals. Polarization in perpendicular directions changes the recombination mechanism. It was shown that the peculiarities of the investigated photoluminescence spectra are associated with the optical transitions involving donor and acceptor levels. The possibility was found to control the spectra shape and intensity using doping and variation of technological parameters that allows preparing single crystals with alternation of three and one packet polytypes. This is promising for practical applications.
