Desenvolvimento, mercado e política sociais em comunidades camponesas no Estado da Paraíba
Abstract
This article discusses the interfaces between development, market and social policies in rural communities. Such policies are retrieved and (re) present meaning as local development policies "upgrading" this way, the Coast, High and Wild Wilderness paraibano a kind of gift economy. Experience modeling to (re) updates these communities a kind of gift economy based on three acts (giving, receiving and returning) is the Solidarity Revolving Funds (GRF). The FRS are instruments of solidarity finance (in grants) targeted at rural communities engaged in self-management of these funds, creating a savings and decide that (re) invest part of this for the sake of the community. The central policy of the Funds is to strengthen solidarity and reciprocity of the circuit as ancient practices of the universe peasant, and simultaneously enter the community in the trading circuit. This approach is based on an ethnography underway in five communities in the state of Paraiba. The research is being financed with funds from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and Bank of Northeast Brazil (BNB).
