"Comparative analysis of nitrile rubber 1906 produced by Lanzhou Petrochemical Company and similar products"
Abstract
The sequence structure, microstructure, molecular weight, processing performance, as well as low temperature resistance and compression permanent set of nitrile rubber (NBR) 1906 produced by Lanzhou Petrochemical Company were investiga-ted, and comparative analysized with similar products such as NBR 1965 produced by Zhenjiang Nandi Chemical Co Ltd (referred to as Nandi) and Nanjing Jinpu Insa Synthetic Rubber Co Ltd (referred to as Insa). The results showed that the acrylonitrile structural units of the three products were all randomly distributed, with NBR 1906 having a slightly lower BBB sequence structure content and slightly poorer flexibility. Molecular weight and its distribution of NBR 1906 were basically equivalent to the compared products, with a mass fraction of trans-1,4-unit about 4% higher and a mass fraction of cis-1,4-unit about 33% lower, but slightly better processing performance. The flat vulcanization period of NBR 1906 was comparable to that of Nandi NBR 1965, superior to that of Insa products, and there was no vulcanization reversion phenomenon. Tensile strength of NBR 1906 was about 9% higher than that of Insa NBR 1965, but about 5% lower than that of Nandi pro-duct. The crosslinking density and compression permanent set were at the same level as the comparison products, but the compression cold resistance coefficient below -40 ℃ was slightly inferior to that of the comparison products.
