VALUE CONSCIOUSNESS OF YOUTH

Abstract

Values being a kind of social regulator of behavior, play an important role in the formation of personality. They characterize the direction, content and forms of expression of behavior. Values affect the attitudes, positions and behaviors of members of society, are embedded in social and ethnic identity. The aim of the work is to study the structure of the value consciousness of students. Method and methodology of the work. The study is based on the study of values: M. Rokich, S. Schwartz, L. Kolberg, K. Gilligan, N.М. Lebedeva, V.N. Kunitsyna et al. Results. The results of the work consist in the fact that modern students in the structure of value consciousness are dominated by family and moral values. The scope of the results. The results of the study can be applied in preventive, counseling work with young people.
