Primary liver tumors constitute about 1% of the solid tumors in children. Of these tumors, hepatoblastoma is the most common (70%). Currently, hepatic resection is the treatment of choice for liver tumor cases. Clamp-crushing method has been known as the gold standard and the most favorable technique, which is used by surgeons due to its speed, ease, inexpensive cost and allowing minimal complications. We present a case of pediatric hepatoblastoma resected using clamp-crushing technique and we also discuss the benefits of this technique, both in intra-operative and post-operative settings.
