The biggest part of mankind infrastructure is developed on the use of copper. Because of that the mining metallurgical production of copper is very significant branch of industry. Waste and by-products that occur during the production of copper is not rare are richer in content of copper and other valuable metals from natural reserves of the metal, so that their processing can recovery metals. In addition, they can be used for the production of construction materials. All that reduce the exploitation of natural resources, the quantity of waste deposited on the earth and decreases the level of the environmental pollution. In the paper gives a overview of the treatment of waste from mining-pyrometallurgical copper production.
