Anaphylactic reactions in anesthetic agents
Abstract
In the anesthesiologist’s daily work, there is a common use of drugs which present diverse chemicals, potentially lethal that are applied to patients with different characteristics and diseases. Consequently, their response depends on multiple factors. Nowadays new and numerous anesthetics have been introduced so their application require a more diligent work. These reasons should be considered for the appearance of adverse reactions, some which are difficult to diagnose. This review approaches the anaphylaxis produced by anesthetic drugs and their treatment.
