Erich Maria Remarque is an author, who made his goal to transfer the realities without literary concerns on reader. The author emphasizing the fact of war successfully, in The Road Back, sequel to All Quiet on the Western Front, describes the problems of a group soldiers in social life and their adaption process. The characters in the novel stalled in the process of individualization are located in focus of the novel. In this work, it is analyzed sociologically and psychologically the centralized change, innovation and the problems of adaptation.
