Perangkat pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar di sekolah SMPN 9 Banjarmasin dinilai masih perlu dikembangkan agar lebih layak dan lebih baik. Hal ini berpengaruh pada rendahnya hasil ketercapaian belajar kognitif siswa dan cara penyelesaian pemecahan masalah persoalan yang dihadapi siswa. Oleh karena itu dikembangkanlah perangkat pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pengajaran langsung yang memiliki tujuan khusus untuk: (1) Mendeskripsikan validitas perangkat pembelajaran, (2) mendeskripsikan kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan RPP, dan (3) mendeskrepsikan keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran yang ditinjau dari hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mangacu pada model pengembangan Dick and Carey. Bentuk instrumen yang dikembangkan berupa berupa RPP, LKS, THB dan Materi ajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid dengan kategori baik (2) Kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran dinilai terlaksana dalam kategori sangat baik dan (3) Keefektivan perangkat pembelajaran berkategori sedang. Diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan model pengajaran langsung dengan metode problem solving yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam sistem belajar mengajar. Kata kunci: Perangkat Pembelajaran, Model Pengajaran Langsung, Metode Problem Solving. ABSTRACT: The learning equipment used in teaching and learning process at school SMPN 9 Banjarmasin need improvement in order to make it better than before. This case influential by the low of students’ cognitive achievement and problem-solving. Therefore, the researcher were going to improve the learning equipment using direct learning model which have some purpose: (1) to describe validity of learning equipment, (2) to describe the practicability learning equipment carry out from RPP observe, and (3) to describe the effectiveness of learning equipment from students’ cognitive achievement. This research was development research which refers to Dick and Carey learning model. The type of instrument was going to develop in this research were RPP, LKS, THB and learning the material. The result of this research showed: (1) the learning equipment which has developed stated as valid with a good category, (2) the practicability of learning equipment has implemented stated as the very good category, and (3) the effectiveness of learning equipment stated as with fair category. The conclusion of this research was the learning equipment using direct learning model with the problem-solving method which had developed was suitable to apply in teaching and learning system.
