AFDeter is an integrated software package, for research and study purposes, to simultaneously determine the structural parameters and airflow-related properties of fibrous materials based on their airflow penetration behavior. Some easily obtained data (i.e., airflow velocity and pressured drop) are used to obtain the parameters and properties by solving the inverse problem. AFDeter works with various fibrous materials, including conventional fibrous nonwoven fabrics and nanofibrous materials. Other functionalities are included, such as import data and bounds setting verifications. The operation of AFDeter is simple and convenient, and it can be run as a MATLAB-based app or standalone application.
