THEOLOGY AND THE END OF METAPHYSICS

Abstract

The article attempts to describe the changes in the structure and content of Christian theology, arising from the changing cultural and historical epoch.The main approaches are the concepts of «theocentric consciousness», «anthropocentric consciousness», «topology of Theology», «death of metaphysics». Particular attention refers to the views of Heidegger and V. N. Lossky. There is description of some strategies emerging in response to a clash between anthropocentric consciousness and theology, formed in theocentric age. The author believes that the deep crisis of the bases of European meta-physics, aff ected the region of theology. Teologians and philosophers must consider the nature of these changes
