Digital practices of Portuguese and Mexican youth. a comparative study

Abstract

In this article we propose a comparative exploratory study about the digital practices of Portuguese and Mexican youth. By applying questionnaire surveys, we gather information to typify the uses of digital resources by young people. The objective is to perceive the contours of a certain markedly digital youth culture. As a significant result, we verified a strong symmetry in digital practices, oriented towards entertainment and the daily and intensive use of digital social networks.
