Sergius of Radonezh in the ideological confrontation of the Russian past and present

Abstract

The article describes the role St. Sergius of Radonezh as a representative of defensive-conciliatory direction of political thought which formed the Holy Russia as a unique agent of social and political life the fight against that is carried out up to the present day.
