Indifference to massacre is thediscovery of the history of the 20thcentury. A triad of “as ifs”, full ofconsequences, specifies that indifference:“as if one does not see”,“as if one does not hear”, “as if onedoes not exist”… This gives rise toan irrefutable judgment, “You arenothing!” which materializes in the“musselman” of the concentrationcamps. On the basis of somedisturbing testimonies, the articleoutlines some of the subjective anddiscursive aspects that characterizethis dark reality of our time.
