Odour annoyance in urban contexts is of particular concerns and requires effective monitoring in order to avoid complaints from citizens. The research presents an advanced and integrated odour monitoring system, which combines analytical, senso-instrumental and citizen science tools, for the continuous and proactive characterization of the odours in ambient air to prevent odour annoyance. The on-site validation of the system was implemented integrating data collected by IOMSs and air quality station with 768 reports collected by a newly designed Citizen Science APP. A maximum density of 329 signals per 0.01 km2 was recorded at south-west of the odour sources investigated.
