Creación de un instrumento psicométrico para identificar el estilo pedagógico en docentes universitarios
Abstract
The aim of this research was to identify the teaching styles which dominate in the teaching practices at a University of Bogota, Colombia. The sample was constituted by 19 teachers and 752 students who belong to the psychology program at Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios. The research was carried out in four stages: the first one comprised the problem statement and the development of theoretical framework, the second one covered the methodological and the assessment formats design. In the third one, data collection was implemented, while in the fourth one, data analysis was carried out. Regarding findings, it could be established that the directive style was the most prevailing teaching style. Finally, it must be said this instrument is useful for teachers’ assessment due to it looks for the improvement of teaching and learning processes.
