Archéologie de l’extermination à Sobibor

Abstract

This article furthers a discussion which began during an episode of the « Salon noir » radio program on « France-Culture ». Issues of conservation, memory and scientific results involved in an archaeology of the Shoah are examined. Some underlying emotional foundations concerning all archaeologists in their practice are also discerned: this is why we are sharing our thoughts.
