NEW APPROACH IN THE TREATMENT OF TUBERCULOSIS WITH THE MULTIDRUG RESISTANCE
Abstract
This article shows the urgency of tuberculosis in the world, Russia, Kazakhstan, including the tuberculosis with the multidrug resistance; it gives an overview of the literature on the effectiveness of TB treatment for the last 15 years; reflects the problem of the antibiotic treatment of infectious diseases when microbes develop resistance to antibiotics, including when the Mycobacteria tuberculosis develop resistance to rifampicin, isoniazid and other anti-TB drugs; describes the ways and reasons for the spread of tuberculosis with the multidrug-resistance, the effectiveness of TB treatment for the tuberculosis with the multidrug resistance when the standard therapy is used; describes the results of therapeutic efficacy of the Kazakh drug FS-1: when the application of the FS-1 was accompanied by the persistent abacillation of sputum, infiltration of lung tissue of all patients resolved, most patients’ cavities got closed and resolved; it was detected that Mycobacteria tuberculosis recovered receptivity to the anti-TB drugs, to which they were resistant before, as a result of changes in the structure of nucleic acids in the populations of mycobacteria.
