Purpose: to develop a method for justification of the priority and order of repair and restoration work on land reclamation systems based on the technical condition assessment of the objects of land reclamation systems, as well as their significance for the system operation as a whole using the example of the Bg-R-8-1 channel of the Bagaevskaya irrigation system. Materials and methods: materials on the Bg-R-8-1 channel of the Bagaevskaya irrigation system were used as initial data for developing the proposed method. Results. When substantiating the priority and order of maintenance work on waterworks of land reclamation systems, it is necessary to assess the technical condition of each structure, as well as its performance significance for the land reclamation system operation as a whole. The technical condition of the elements of land reclamation systems is determined on the basis of field studies and approved by a technical inspection report. Then each element is assigned a corresponding technical index: standard, operational, partially operational or limit state. To assess the significance, it is necessary to determine the number of elements of the reclamation system, the efficiency of which depends on the reliable operation of the structure under consideration, as well as the actual, design and command irrigation area, the irrigation of which is affected by the reliability of the element under consideration. The priority indicator is defined as the product of the operational significance index and technical condition index. The priority of maintenance work is determined by ordering the resulting values from the largest value to the smallest. Conclusions. The proposed approach will improve the efficiency of using financial resources and ensure more rational planning of maintenance work on the reclamation systems.
