The article is based on a series of surveys started in early December 2012 and ended in May 2018. The main goal of the study was a survey of the local resident breeding population of Yellow-Billed Kite (Milvus aegyptius). In total, 74 active nests and 2 inactive nests of Yellow-Billed Kite were found in surroundings of Cairo, Luxor, Lake Nasser and Abu Simbel.
