Parcours, pratique théorique et documents scientifiques « privés » du physicien Jacques Solomon

Abstract

Jacques Solomon (1908-1942) is an important figure in the theoretical physics of the 1930s in France. His published works and the personal documents that have been entrusted to me, reveal specific writing processes and theoretical elaborations, which his premature death did not allow him to complete. In this essay, I examine his career and these private documents, which consist of notes, drafts and pre-texts, from the perspective of an integrated history of science and texts.
