Definition of regions of provenance and seed zones for forest basic and moltiplication materials of Abruzzo region

Abstract

The study presents an application of the Directive 1999/105/CE in Abruzzo. Using climatic data for GIS and statistics analysis have been defined nine seed zones grouped in three region of provenances. The obtained map, will be used for the management of forest reproductive materials in Abruzzo.
