Personal autonomy of women with disabilities: case study of accesibility to technical supplies and new technologies
Abstract
It is known that women suffer many types of discrimination, on account of gender, handicap, social class, ethnic group, etc. Our aim in the present work is to analyze the obstacles which have to be overcome by women in relation to accessibility to technical supplies and new technologies, and to favour their use through rationalizing sector proposals. These offer many possibilities in order to minimize malfunction, promote health and increase autonomy, so that prevent social exclusion. Furthermore enough governmental investments must be demanded for training and provision of resources. I set it out as handicapped woman and professional health promoter.
