Insegurança alimentar e informalidade: uma relação persistente no Município de Breves/ Marajó/ Pará (Food insecurity and informality: a persistent relationship in the municipality of Breves/ Marajó/Pará)

Abstract

Resumo: Este artigo tem por objetivo geral analisar a relação existente entre a insegurança alimentar, trabalho informal e desemprego vivenciada pelos usuários do Centro de Referência de Assistência Social do Bairro Cidade Nova, no município de Breves-PA. Para o desenvolvimento, foi realizado levantamento bibliográfico a fim de problematizar e esclarecer conceitos e dilemas acerca da temática, bem como, informações gerais do perfil socioeconômico do território através dos dados levantados em pesquisa diagnóstica realizada pela Secretaria Municipal do Trabalho e Assistência Social do município, o que nos proporcionou identificar que a ausência da segurança nutricional e sanitária dos sujeitos pesquisados está diretamente relacionada à instabilidade ou inexistência de renda capaz de suprir suas necessidades básicas. Abstract: This article has as main objective to analyze the relationship between food insecurity, informal work and unemployment experienced by users of the Social Assistance Reference Center District New Town, in the municipality of Breves-PA. For the development was carried out literature in order to discuss and clarify concepts and dilemmas about the theme, as well as general information on the socioeconomic profile of the territory, through the data collected in a diagnostic survey carried out by the Municipal Department of Labor and Social Assistance of the municipality, which allowed us to identify that the absence of nutritional and health security of the subjects surveyed is directly related to the instability or lack of income capable of meeting their basic needs.
