Brazil's Presidency in the G20 in 2024 marks a turning point by proposing an integrated approach to address the interconnected challenges of combating hunger, climate change, and promoting bioeconomy. Under President Lula's leadership, two task forces were established: one focused on the Global Alliance against Hunger and Poverty, and another on Global Mobilization against Climate Change, including the Global Bioeconomy Initiative. This article investigates the novelty of these Brazilian initiatives within the G20 context, exploring how these three themes are interconnected and analyzing their potential contribution to building a fair world and a sustainable planet.
