Voltage sag may cause large load losses due to the acting of low voltage releasers, resulting in serious economic losses. This paper proposes a load loss evaluation system to calculate the load loss caused by the acting of low voltage releasers. In the proposed evaluation system, the voltage tolerance curves are presented to express the operating features of low voltage releasers. The impact of low voltage releasers with different parameters on the load loss is fully considered based on the voltage tolerance curves. The results illustrate that the proposed load loss evaluation system can accurately calculate the load loss caused by the acting of low voltage releasers.
