A falciform inflammatory mass following gallstone pancreatitis is a rare complication reported in adults, which we present here occurring in a paediatric patient. A 10yr old female patient presenting initially with features consistent with gallstone pancreatitis, with confirmed multiple small gallstones on ultrasound, was brought forward for expedited laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Intraoperatively an inflammatory mass of the falciform ligament was identified, drained and partially resected prior to cholecystectomy. She made a successful recovery with subsequent ultrasound showing features consistent with postoperative changes alone.
