Abstract

This year marks one hundred years since the birth of a great artist, born in Bessarabia, the one who carried the fame of the Romanian nation beyond the borders of the native place. A name covered with glory both in Romania, where she was first soloist for almost thirty years at the National Opera House in Bucharest, as well as abroad, achieving important successes in big musical centers. Highly appreciated in Romania, the mezzo-soprano Zenaida Pally proudly represents the talent of this people on big stages of the world. Through the prism of her talent, she has won the sympathy of even the most demanding audience, her performance always bursting with applause and admiration, praises that we find in various chronicles appeared after the extraordinary shows with her participation. This article is intended to be a tribute, and at the same time a commemoration, for the one who has been and will remain in the history of opera theater a true divas of the lyrical scene, a special artist, born on our mioritic lands. The one who delighted the whole world with her talent and charm. Artist and creator, whose life was definitely one dedicated to the service of art.
