APPROACHES TO OPTIMIZATION OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
Abstract
Purpose. The article is devoted to the most important problem of development and formation of competencies for students of a technical college, preparing to carry out professional activities at high-tech enterprises of nuclear energy. The article analyzes various pedagogical approaches to identify the criteria for optimizing the educational process. Methodology. The basis of the study formed by theoretical and empirical research methods. Results. Based on the analysis, criteria formulated for optimizing the educational process of training specialists for professional activities at nuclear power plants. The most important factors of effective professional training of students are: consideration of the requirements of employers’ enterprises and individual aptitudes of students; Development of professional competencies; Minimal effort, money and time; Complex use of various approaches on the basis of modern educational technologies. The implementation of the formulated criteria should contribute to improving the effectiveness of the learning process, by effectively implementing the potential of students and orienting the educational process on future professional activities. Practical implications. The formulated optimization criteria can be used to organize the educational process in the system of higher professional education.
