The purpose of this study is to highlight the importance of strategic media campaigns and advertising in the protection of the environment. It is an attempt to detect the most important problems of the environment as a dynamic medium and identify the media role played by the institutions responsible for the protection of the environmentin raising awareness about its importance . In the light of industrial development and economic activity pursued by the state .irreparable damages can occur if this development is not exploited and planned appropriately. This study also shows the importance given to environmental communication in the context of national development strategies. It focuses on the efforts of the Ministry and the organizations and associations for the protection of the environment and the role of the media in the process of environmental awareness.
