The Three-River-Source National Park (TNP) is located in the hinterland of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau with a variety of landforms and complicated geography. As the source of three great rivers, it is rich in water resources and also known as Chinese Water Tower and Asian Water Tower. The area provides a habitat for many rare animals and plants on the plateau. It has abundant biodiversity and a unique plateau ecosystem. Primitive Tibetans' long-term interaction with natural environment creates splendid religious and national culture, which complements the natural resources and has the aesthetic value. This paper defines the value of natural resources, culture and beauty of TNP, guides people to establish correct concepts of resources, and provides support to the building of ecological civilization and resource development of the park.
