In June 1966 by a coup led by General Onganía, a government that eventually became the “bureaucratic authoritarian” without a time limit, with long-term intentions and adding new bans and proscriptions Peronism was established. Thus, once again it broke the gradual transition to democracy in Argentina. The purpose of this article is to inquire from the political humor, the way the process leading to the self-styled “Argentina Revolution” was appreciated and represented in comic and articles in a particular journal strips. The main sources with which they will work are the latest numbers published by Tía Vicenta. The magazine ceased publication on July 17, 1966, just weeks after the inauguration of General Onganía as president of the nation. It was closed for «lack of respect for authority and hierarchical investiture”, specifically to represent the president as a walrus.
