Motivational factors in English language learning: context of the University of Informatics Sciences
Abstract
This paper describes the impact of motivational factors on English language learning in students of the University of Informatics Sciences. The results of a survey applied to students in third and fourth years of the career in School 1 were considered, as well as recent academic results. A strategy bas ed on the main features of the formation process was defined, which seeks to highlight the importance of English in the students’ development environment, to encourage their interest in it. The research corroborates that motivation is an essential element in learning any subject, especially in the case of a foreign language.
