Normalizační šrámy na duši Divadla Járy Cimrmana

Abstract

Though dealing with the issue of the Jára Cimrman Theatre is enticing, it is also necessary to focus on the given topic in a way in which it has not yet been addressed. In this study, the author focuses on the period of normalisation, during which the legendary company had to deal with a number of peripeteias. He approaches the article using the oral-history method, specifically interviews with key figures in the theatre, and the subsequent confrontation of those accounts with previously unpublished sources from private and public archives. The study thus has the objective of portraying the legendary theatre company from a previously unseen perspective.
